Back in September, Alex and James ran their first ultra marathon – Sea2Sky in Wales. Alex has written about his experience in his first guest appearance!

Following on from a good-looking 20-week scan, I treated myself to a Knutsford 10k race entry. Delightful morning out…

After a few months of radio silence, I’ve finally written a post about Endure24 earlier this year. It wasn’t what I’d hoped in terms of distance covered, so it’s taken me a while to reflect on. I certainly have some unfinished business!!

After having so much fun at SDW50, the ultra adventures continued with a trip to Bornholm! Which was followed by the Copenhagen Marathon 2025!

A new post is up about the SDW50 race I ran a couple of weeks ago! It was a delightful day out and I encourage anyone (who meets the qualifying criteria) to add it to their list!

New post about injuries. It reads as a bit of a list of injuries. I have some thoughts around why injuries happen and often get worse before they get better. I think I shall write that as my next post… which I wrote right away and is here!

New Year New Me? Nah, just some more running races to complete and the ongoing goal to not completely wreck my body… 2025 Running goals

New post about Endure24, the solo attempt! Read it here: Endure24 – going solo

Hi! Welcome to my new blog about ultra running, training, things I think about when running… As it’s a new blog, my posts are all new! So head to my about page to read about me, then to my contents page and pick something that tickles your fancy. You can read about my first ultra I ever ran, or the time I returned and experienced the danger-farts. You can read about the first time I did Endure24 with my good friend Sarah, and in future I’ll write posts about some of the most beautiful races I’ve done, some of the stupid things I’ve done whilst running, and how running has got me through some dark times in my life. So I hope you enjoy, and I hope you come back for more in the future!
